THE DISTILLATION

Pierre de Segonzac uses two traditional, coper pot-stills. The first one is 18 hectolitres, the second one is 25 hectolitres. Both fall in the ideal range to make the best liquors. The procedure of heating used is called “soft” with distillation on fine lees. To obtain a unique taste after distillation cuts are made manually by nose.

THE CELLAR

Ageing is a crucial step to elaborate quality Cognacs. Pierre de Segonzac has several storage cellars. We leverage the different features of these cellars in order to enhance the quality of our cognacs .
